CanSat Initiative

CanSat is an initiative of the European Space Agency that chanllenges students from all over Europe to build and launch a mini satellite the size of a soda can. The mission of the mini satellite consists of conducting an experiment and/or a technological demonstration during the fall, achieving a safe landing and analyzing the collected data.

On May 26th 2021, the Galician regional competition was held at CIAR, the purpose was to select the team that represents the community in the national final phase. The systems were launched by Aeromedia with the Aero1 drone, from an approximate height of 500m.
