The VI Meeting of Planetary Science and Solar System Exploration will take place in the Centro de Astrobiologia (CAB) Auditorium, in the Torrejón de Ardoz INTA headquartes (see Facilities Section map below).

Access

In INTA, follow the instructions of the security personnel at all times.

The ID control and registry in will be performed in the Space Dome (see Facilities Section map below) during the following times:

  • Monday 27th: from 13:30 to 14:45.
  • Wednesday 28th and Friday 29th: from 8:00 to 8:55.

Out of this timeline, the ID contol will take place entry security barrer, without leaving your vehicle. Follow the instructions of the security personnel to reach the CAB Auditorium, where you will be able to sign in.

 

INTA`s bus

INTA will provide to the participants of the meeting a bus with stop close to Torrejón de Ardoz train station (see map) at 08:30 h on Monday 27th and at 8:15 at Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th. All three days the bus will return at 18:30 h.
The bus will stop at the Space Dome for ID control and resitry before arrive to CAB.
 
 

Public Transport

It is possible to reach INTA by the 252 intercity bus (Alcalá de Henares - Torrejón de Ardoz - Daganzo de Arriba - Ajalvir).
Commuting to INTA, you will need to perform your ID check and registry in the Space Dome and take one of the buses available from there to the CAB.

Car Transport

Follow the instructions of the Access Section, acording to your arriving time. All cars need to be identify by the securit personnel. All cars must be parked near the CAB during the meeting.

 

Displacements inside INTA

The free circulation of cars is forbidden in all the Institute. Displacements inside will be done by internal buses.

  • There will be a bus from the Space Dome to the CAB for the registry (see Access Section).
  • Another bus will be available at lunch time to commute from the CAB to the cantina.

Meals

INTA’s cafeteria

INTA has a self-service cafeteria, with a varied dish and dessert option, and the possibility of “Diet menu”.

The displacement to the cafeteria will be done by internal bus. Participants must indicate at the moment of the registration if they are planning to have lunch there, with the aim to help with the transport organization.

Menu prices:

  • Full menu: 6,95 € (First, second, bread, drink and dessert; drinks: water/refreshment/beer without alcohol).
  • Half menu: 4,90 € (Frist or second, bread, drink and dessert).

 

Shopping center - Parque corredor

Close to INTA, the shopping center “Parque Corredor” offers a broad variety of bars and restaurants. It is possible to reach it by car or 252 bus. The indications from INTA can be found in the following link.
