Where are we?

Flight Mechanics Area is located at INTA's Campus of Torrejón, in carretera de Ajalvir, km 4.

Our headquarters can be found in N-01 building, which is known at INTA as "La Torre" (The Tower). The reason for this is that the building was a air control tower long ago, used for different flight operations related to INTA's early activities. With the construction of the new control tower in the Joint Operation Airbase of Torrejón de Ardoz, our building ended up its initial functions and started to be the headquarters, among other activities, of Flight Tests Area. Nowadays, the bulding is shared by different laboratories and Areas. Among them you can find Flight Mechanics Area, located in the left wing's first floor.
